Great write up and another game to add to my list!
The backstory sounded a lot like another similar ARPG, No Rest for the Wicked, which is currently out in early access. I never knew I would like these kinds of games until I tried that one and now I'm a little hooked!!
I get really motion sick so the fixed camera angle of the isometric view is really helpful. It also cleverly hides a few secrets so it's really cool to realize that there is something hidden there.
I really enjoyed my time and sunk quite a number of hours before my PC died. I think there have been some major updates since then, so it's hard to say what it is like recently. But the combat was crisp, methodical, and responsive. Progression, item hunting and crafting, missions, and an end-game dungeon we're all really cool ways to enjoy the game! I can't wait to go back to it...and try this one too!

I've had an eye on that game, especially because of the art, but I'm not sure. What are you thoughts on it?
