The game sounds really interesting! But I'm basically a scaredy cat who gets afraid of the smallest things haha so I don't think this is for me, though I appreciate a game where the narrative is hidden in the subtle details
Then I don't think this game would do well for ya. The busywork in this game is as busy as it gets. I enjoyed my time playing it, but I was annoyed at times, and what pushed me through it was the curiosity I felt for the game.
Thanks for the advice - I think you’re right! The supernatural angle is interesting, though. I wonder how many of these work sim games are experimenting with narratives?
That's a pretty good question. I think most of these sims tend to go for realism, accuracy, or replay-ability, not really narratives. But I haven't played enough to know, just a surface level observation from how they market them. Besides the rags to riches I've seen in some, it would be great to see other narratives tied to accurate mechanics. While this game doesn't try to be real, it does talk about grief in a different way.

It was interesting! It's very tame, so I think anyone could handle this!
Not gonna lie though, when that one book fell out of the bookshelf, I jumped a little bit a lot of bit.
A busywork game with a narrative? Sounds intriguing, though I have never been able to enjoy packing games.
